"I've been on hormones for 13 months now. Recently, my day-to-day life has become 'easier', because now I'm happy with the way I look. People don't 'notice' that I used to be different as much anymore. I can start a conversation with someone new without that person scrutinizing me for a minute trying to figure me out".

 ... thought I was strange and broke my jaw, are suddenly starting to like me because I'm doing really well at the moment career-wise. But I'm still that same person with the same DNA.
